To manage and demonstrate compliance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and other UAF accreditation requirements, including applicable UAF guidelines and conditions as specified by the UAF Accreditation Board.
2. Introduction
TNV Certification Limited. is a UAF-accredited certification body providing certification services for various ISO standards. These guidelines have been created to enable TNV’s certified client organizations—who have successfully been assessed against a system standard or scheme—to use the TNV and UAF logos/marks in a manner that is appropriate, authorized, and does not mislead any stakeholder.
3. Logos/Marks – Which One Can I Use?
TNV Corporate Logo Unless explicit written permission is granted, the corporate logo is reserved for official TNV use only.
4. TNV Certification Logo
TNV Certification Limited.’s certified clients who have successfully undergone a certification audit are authorized to use the applicable TNV certification logo, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
5. Where Can You Use the Logos/Marks?
Clients may display logos/marks on:
• Marketing and promotional materials (letterheads, brochures, websites)
• Quotations, general stationery, internal walls or doors
• Exhibitions and digital communications, subject to compliance with this policy
6. Requirements for Using the Logos/Marks
• Only use artwork/logo formats supplied directly by TNV.
• Use only the logo that corresponds to the actual certification granted.
• Clients may optionally include their certificate number and the standard reference below the mark, ensuring that proportions and legibility are maintained.
• If certification is to be promoted in text without a logo, the following statement must be used: “Certified by TNV Certification Limited., a UAF-accredited certification body”
• When displayed online, logos should link to TNV’s website (https://www.isoindia.org).
7. Color, Size and Technical Requirements
• The logos must be used in original color as provided by TNV.
• Black & white or single-color printing may be permitted, subject to prior approval by TNV.
• All size adjustments must maintain the aspect ratio, clarity, and legibility.
• Logo reproduction samples in modified formats must be submitted to info@isoindia.org for review.
8. Exceptional Permission
Logos/marks may be used in the following formats, provided distortion is avoided:
• Embossed, die-stamped, watermark, or electronic versions
• Proportionate resizing that retains legibility and correct formatting
• Logos with UAF accreditation mark must be in accordance with UAF guidelines and cannot exceed 30 mm on standard A4 documents
9. UAF Logo Terms
Usage of the UAF mark is governed by UAF’s conditions for use. Refer to: https://uafaccreditation.org for the latest guidance.
10. Restrictions on Use of Logos/Marks
• The UAF logo must always be used in conjunction with the TNV certification mark.
• Logos must not imply product certification or be used on:
Products Product packaging (unless accompanied by permitted text such as “Manufactured under a certified QMS as per ISO 9001”)
Certificates of conformity, calibration, analysis, or testing • Upon certification suspension or withdrawal, all logo usage must cease immediately.
• Clients must not misuse marks in a manner that discredits TNV or the certification system.
• Use of logos sourced from the internet or unauthorized platforms (e.g., Google) is strictly prohibited. Clients must obtain official artwork from TNV.
11. Misuse of Logo
Violation of this policy may result in:
• Formal warning or request for correction
• Suspension or withdrawal of certification
• Legal action
• Public disclosure of misuse via TNV’s website or other platforms
Clients must cease all usage of TNV/UAF logos immediately upon notification of misuse and withdraw affected marketing materials.
12. Public Notice / Disclaimer
TNV reserves the right to issue public notices or disclaimers on its portal or any other medium in case of misuse. Certified clients will be liable for all related costs if public disclosures are made to protect the integrity of TNV’s or UAF’s marks. TNV will not be held responsible for any loss to the client resulting from such corrective measures.
