Rights of Clients

At TNV Certification Pvt. Ltd., we are committed to transparency, fairness, and professionalism. We recognize the rights of all our clients, whether they are in the process of certification or are already certified. Our goal is to ensure that every client experiences trust, clarity, and respect throughout their certification journey.
1. Right to Know the Certification Fees and Rational Clients have the right to understand the basis of certification fees, including the calculation of man-days, registration fees, surveillance charges, and any associated administrative costs.
2. Right to Know About the Certification Body and Associates Clients have the right to be informed about TNV Certification Pvt. Ltd., including any business associates, partners, auditors, or subcontractors involved in the certification process.
3. Right to Understand the Certification Process Clients are entitled to a clear explanation of the certification process, covering initial application, document review, Stage-1 and Stage-2 audits, routine surveillance, recertification audits, special audits, and conditions for suspension or withdrawal of certification.
4. Right to Accept or Reject Assigned Auditors Clients have the right to review the proposed auditors’ profiles and, if justified, accept or request the replacement of assigned auditors for their assessments to ensure impartiality and comfort.
5. Right to Receive Assessment Reports Clients have the right to receive comprehensive, written reports for all assessments conducted, including Stage-1, Stage-2, Surveillance, Recertification, and any Special Audits.
6. Right to Written Findings Clients are entitled to receive written communication of all findings, observations, and non-conformities identified during the assessment process, along with a timeline for corrective actions.
7. Right to Certificate Issuance upon Recommendation If the client meets all certification requirements and is recommended by the audit team, they have the right to timely issuance of their certification along with access to certificate verification facilities.
8. Right to Appeal Auditor or Certification Decisions Clients have the right to formally appeal any decision made by TNV Certification Pvt. Ltd. auditors or decision-makers related to their certification status, and have their appeal reviewed independently and fairly.
9. Right to File Complaints Clients may lodge complaints about dissatisfaction, auditor behavior, process issues, or any other grievance. TNV Certification Pvt. Ltd. ensures a documented, transparent, and impartial complaints handling process.

TNV encourage to adopt and implement latest available standards ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015, hence no application shall be accepted after 01st Jan. 2017 for ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 14001-2004 standard, earlier this date was 01st Sept. 2017. Existing client may continue using their certification status till the validity of the standards i.e. 15th Sept. 2018

It was one of the first organizations granted general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

TNV shall start accepting the transition request by January 2019, TNV Plan Single visit approach in normal case, but in case of special request from the Client; staged process may be adopted. Transition may be carried out either by special audit for the transition or with the surveillance audit. Man-days for the transition may be following: a. In case of Special audit, 1/3rd of the initial audit man-days subject to minimum 1 man-days. b. In case of transition audit planned with Surveillance audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. c. In case of transition audit planned with Recertification audit, duration of the surveillance audit shall be increased by 20% of the required man-days subject to minimum .50 man-days. ii) Certificate issued under ISO 22000:2005 shall not be affected and shall remain valid till the validity of certificate issued under old version of the standard i.e. (19th Jun. 2021). iii) TNV shall issue certificate for ISO 22000-2005 with the expiry date on or before 19th Jun. 2021 and this date can be extended to 29th June 2021. if client fails to complete the transition by three years after the publication of ISO 22000:2018, certificate shall expire its validity. This clause shall not affect the surveillance requirement of the TNV. In case transition is not completed during the validity period of the standards, the whole process of certification shall be required (Stage-1 & Stage-2 Audit to be made necessary for certification to be reinstated).
